Parry Sound

On a scouting mission looking for a town to live in, up in the Muskoka area, we soon realized that the dots on the map we hoped indicated towns were actually just little marinas or supermarkets. We won’t be moving to the Parry Sound region until we can afford our own island and the means to get away from it in winter.

dude! my granny used to own an island at parry sound! Lots of great summers up there. Unfortunately the island was too small to get a building permit. But we had plenty of good picnics on “the rock” :)

Jen, visit us when you get back to this part of the world and we can go find your island rock! Sounds awesome. I wish we had our own rock!

Oh, did you ever go to the Don Cherry restaurant? That’s the other reason why we won’t be moving to Parry Sound… Eric vehemently despises Don Cherry more than any creature on earth.

the only restaurant i remember near parry sound was the pizza hut. i had bad taste as a child, what can i say. (at least I don’t have bad taste NOW, like don cherry…)
