The new front yard garden

May 18 – I’m not sure why I thought that in the middle of a home renovation it would be a good idea to start this.

May 20 – I now believe the road to hell is paved with sod.

May 21 – After 3 hours of chopping and 8 hours of shaking out of sod (no exaggeration), I ended up with a semi-barren little plot of dirt.
