Jake (our buddy from Australia) and Kyung Ah (his Korean wife) got married today, Korean style. The rain held off for the duration of their ceremony and Eric got to dress up, too. He got to be one of the “carriers” who transported the groom and then the bride to the altar. Of course he didn’t drop anyone. Shame on you for wondering!

Traditional Korean weddings are outside next to a table with lots of symbolic objects: Plants. Cups. Food. Live chickens. There is a lot of bowing, some singing, some burning of paper. It’s completely different from a Western style wedding.
