Cool little homes and places
I discover fascinating little places while cataloguing architecture books at work, so I’ve started to compile a list of my favourite architects and projects and buildings.
Today’s pick: Atelier Bow-wow, an architectural firm in Tokyo. I love everything they design. They even did a library!
Earth sheltered house?
I always thought it was odd that after leaving Lonnie & Nancy’s I couldn’t remember what the house looked like. I had no word for it until I worked on a collection of materials about underground and earth-sheltered buildings. Maybe an example earth sheltering of in-hill construction type?
