Christmas 2009

decor-14

After the snowstorm, Eric and I headed to his dad’s house to celebrate Christmas as originally planned. It was our first year to choose a live Christmas tree and of course we couldn’t decide, so we ended up with two: a little potted rosemary bush and 2 foot blue spruce that we will plant after we find the key to the shed with the shovel. Since all of our ornaments are in boxes in Montreal, we made some paper ones out of books from the local Friends of the Library used bookstore ($3’s worth), new ribbon ($4), buttons ($2), rubber stamps (borrowed from Nancy), and my new Colorbox inkpad in reds and silvers.
