Pancakes and the AGO

Last weekend we got a city fix and bummed around Toronto for a couple of days. Somehow, I don’t have photos of dinner with Diane or her apartment, all the coffee shops we loitered in, the copper stuff I coveted in the home decor shops, the whirlwind IKEA shopping spree, or Thai take out with Carl, Anna, and the girls.

What I do have are pictures of some of my favourite things at the AGO as Wells as the gorgeous pancakes I had for Saturday brunch.

Gardiner Museum

First visit to the Gardiner ceramics museum in Toronto. Every 3rd Friday is free!

Here are some of my favourite objects:

Toronto in September

One Sunday last month I took a bus trip to Toronto to meet my friend, Diane. We both scored cool old books at a U of T book sale (part of the  Word on the Street festival) and then had pie at a dessert shop. There are no pictures of the hanji shop we wandered into, but it was awesome, too.

Nice spot for a book fair.
Pie makes everyone happy.
Pretty house.

Ontario Science Centre

Just before the civic holiday we had the chance to meet up with old friends from Daejeon who were passing through Toronto on holiday. We played around the Science Centre for a few hours.
