Above Colpoy’s Bay
Last weekend’s hike from the Sydenham trails book created some mud monsters who later got dipped into a frigid Colpoy’s Bay. Also, I rolled my ankle.

Instructions for a gourmet peanut butter sandwich
Ingredients:
- two slices of your favourite bread
- margarine
- peanut butter
- 1 banana
- cinnamon, sugar & nutmeg
- maple syrop
- 1 George Foreman ™ Grill
Instructions:
- Preheat the grill to 400C.
- ‘Butter’ each slice of bread as for a normal sandwich, not a grilled cheese.
- Spread the peanut butter to the thickness you prefer, then add slices of banana.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and nutmeg (preferably from a bunny shaker).
- Drizzle with maple syrop.
- Close the sandwich.
- Grill the sandwich for as long as it takes your brother to explain US Treasury Bills and debt (or
fiveseven minutes). - Carefully remove the sandwich from the grill and wait a bit before eating, the banana will be melted!
Edit: I realized late that the title should be “Instructions for making a gourmet peanut butter sandwich”, but now I find the actual title quite hilarious. Hey sandwich, this is what you should do…
