The good news is, the witch hazel has buds and is starting to show a few lovely orange flowers! The bad news is, snowfall was so heavy that quite a few little branches have broken off. I shouldn’t have believed the instruction “No winter protection needed“. God knows who wrote that… maybe someone in Kentucky. Hopefully the winter “pruning” will make it grow a lot this year.
